A seminar on “Integrating Skills in Teaching.” Was organised for the teachers and the resource person for the day was Ms. Nikita Bhatra, a pioneer in STEM/STEAM learning. Ms. Bhatra discussed the National Education Policy (NEP) and National Curriculum Framework (NCF), highlighting the shift from learning objectives to learning outcomes. Teachers participated in group activities to design ideal classrooms, showcasing innovative ideas like mobile classrooms and smartboards.
Ms. Bhatra emphasized essential skills such as adaptability, experiential learning, and digital literacy. She also highlighted contemporary subjects like computational thinking and discussed transforming assessment culture with holistic progress cards. The seminar allowed teachers to analyse the NEP and gain valuable insights.
