Our school celebrated Van Mahotsav Week with a vibrant series of activities that deepened our connection to nature and sustainability! Students from both the English medium exchanged saplings, sharing the excitement of nurturing new life and fostering a greener community. Together, we planted saplings around the campus, creating a “green legacy” that will continue to thrive and inspire us for years to come.
A colorful poster competition saw students creatively illustrating the beauty and significance of trees and forests, while an engaging environment quiz challenged us to broaden our eco-knowledge. These activities reminded us that Van Mahotsav is not just about planting trees—it’s a call to actively protect and cherish our planet.
Inspired by the seven goals of Laudato Si, we saw how each small step, from ecological education to the care of our common home, contributes to a healthier and more sustainable world. Van Mahotsav was more than a celebration; it was a pledge to safeguard our environment for generations to come!
