Growing Green Together!
This Van Mahotsav Week, our school came alive with activities that connected us to nature in fun and meaningful ways! Students the Gujarati medium as well as the English Primary Medium exchanged saplings, sharing the joy of growing plants with each other. Together, we also planted saplings around the school, leaving a “green print” that we’ll watch grow in the years to come.
In colourful poster competitions, students expressed the beauty and importance of trees and forests, while an exciting environment quiz put our eco-knowledge to the test! Through these activities, we learned how Van Mahotsav is more than just planting trees—it’s a reminder to protect our planet.
Inspired by Laudato Si’s 7 goals, we saw how each action, from ecological education to caring for our common home, helps build a better world. Van Mahotsav was a week to celebrate nature, but also to make a promise to keep it safe for the future!
