On October 19, 2024, Auxilium Convent High School Baroda, was filled with excitement as we welcomed our esteemed Visiting Councillor, Sr. Celine Jacob from Rome. Visiting on behalf of our Mother General, Sr. Celine came to meet the staff and students, bringing a spirit of joy and inspiration.
The celebration began with a prayerful atmosphere, setting the tone for the day. The students staged a beautiful cultural program, reflecting the vibrant heritage of our school. In her address, the head girl offered Sr. Celine insights into the journey of Auxilium students—their growth, aspirations, and values they uphold. She shared how Auxilium shapes young minds, guiding each student to discover their unique potential and nurture their dreams.
In her message to the students, Sr. Celine spoke with warmth and wisdom, expressing her appreciation for the cultural richness she had witnessed. Reflecting on the dream of Don Bosco, she reminded everyone that, just as he dared to dream, each student must also nurture their dreams with courage. She encouraged them to build a strong foundation by cultivating kindness, patience, and gentleness. Sr. Celine offered a beautiful metaphor, likening life to a bird that flies with two wings—one of gratitude and the other of hard work. “Only by balancing both,” she said, “can we soar toward our dreams.”
Later, Sr. Celine met with the teachers and listened to their experiences. She reminded them of the greatness that often goes unnoticed in each classroom, urging them to instill knowledge and values inspired by the Preventive System of reason, religion, and loving kindness.
Her visit left an enduring sense of inspiration, encouraging us all to continue our shared mission of nurturing and uplifting each other with love and purpose.
