Workers’ Day, Children’s Day, and Diwali Celebration

October 26, 2024

With their brightest smiles and best outfits, the children joyfully mingled, while the workers traded their uniforms for smart formals. The teachers joined in the fun, sporting jeans and T-shirts that added a youthful flair to the celebration. A lively buzz filled the air, and all eyes were drawn to the backdrop that revealed the mystery—Auxilium Baroda was in for a triple celebration! Worker’s Day, Children’s Day, and Diwali came together, promising a day filled with gratitude, laughter, and the glow of festivity.

The celebration began by invoking God’s blessings led by the Gujarati Medium students. This was followed by the lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness. A beautifully choreographed Diwali dance filled the gathering with festive cheer. Bringing in the spirit of Diwali.
In a thought-provoking skit-cum-song, students highlighted the pervasive influence of social media in today’s world. The performance addressed how easily one can become a “slave” to the screen, subtly reminding everyone of the importance of managing screen time and not letting technology control our lives.
The teachers were not just in tune with their lessons but also in step with the latest trends, grooving to popular hit songs that set the stage alight. Their lively performance reflected a youthful spirit. The children cheered and clapped for their teachers. Some even shouting for an encore, eager to see their teachers perform again.

Teacher Mrs. Dimple Rane, on behalf of all, expressed her appreciation for the workers and acknowledged their important role in the smooth functioning of the school by comparing their selfless service to St. Joseph the Worker, highlighting their dedication and commitment. She also spoke about the significance of Children’s Day, celebrated in honour of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who viewed children as the future of the nation. She reminded everyone that this day is an opportunity to celebrate the potential and promise within each child. Concluding her message, Mrs. Dimple reflected on Diwali, the festival of lights, encouraging everyone to be a light that dispels darkness in the world while spreading happiness, peace, and prosperity to others.

The celebration ended on a joyful note. A heartfelt thanks to the Principal and Management for their unwavering support and guidance, which truly made this event special for all involved.
